The Key Biscayne Education Foundation was established in 2008 by a group of parents and residents from the Village of Key Biscayne who share the desire of improving public school education and social development opportunities for students and families of Key Biscayne. This non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is a collaborative effort that includes local businesses, community and educational leaders.- By school year 2009 - 2010, our mission is to establish a high school that creates a new standard of excellence in education within an innovative community school campus available for use by all residents.

Friday Aug. 2 - 3 from 11am to 4pm South Florida gamers of all skill levels are invited to face-off at the Best Buy Wii-kends at Miami Seaquarium. Wii-kends will feature Nintendo Wii competitions that will run. each day. Nintendo Wii gaming systems and a Rock Band Wii Game are among some of the prizes that will be awarded during the weekends.
Splashtacular Summer celebration continues through Aug 17 at Miami Seaquarium,. The park will feature daily performances by the All American High Dive Team. The show will feature professional divers from around the country who show off their Olympic diving ability along with hilarious comedic antics. Guests will be amazed to see the featured 75-foot high dive into a clear-sided pool with just eight feet of water.
