Key Biscayne Historical & Heritage Society is a Florida Nonprofit Corporation. The purpose of the Key Biscayne Historical and Heritage Society shall be the collection, preservation, storage and exhibition of artifacts, documents and information of historical significance to the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida, and its environs. It shall provide for and promote the dissemination of information pertaining to local history and present educational and interpretive programs, projects and exhibits. This FUN organization invites all of you to join to share your memories, photographs, newspaper clippings, or to learn about our past.

September 5 at 6pm. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Key Colony Plaza

September 30, Sunday 10am at the Key Biscayne Community Church
The  United Church of Christ  will have its annual "Blessing of our Pets" at 10am in the Patio of the church. All creatures should be controlled (leashed or caged please). It the past we have had turtles, goldfish, parrots, dogs, cats, gerbils, hedgehogs, frogs and more.

All are welcome to bring their pet for this special blessing.

From September 1 to Dec. 15 - Florida residents are being offered special discounts at Miami Seaquarium's new Swim with the Dolphins facility – Dolphin Harbor.  The special discounts give Florida residents a 30 percent discount off regular prices and the opportunity to get up-close and personal with a dolphin. The discounts apply to the existing Swim with Our Dolphins program and the new Dolphin Encounter program, which will be launched on September 1st.  Both programs offer guests an insightful experience into dolphin behavior.
