March 3 at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park -- On behalf of 2007 Heritage days, The Friends of Cape Florida are sponsoring three events.

There is an environmental cleanup that all are invited to participate, focusing on removing exotic vegetation. To volunteer, arrive at the park at 8:30am and ask for directions to the work area at the gate.

The Lighthouse will be open for special tours and exhibits between 10:00am and 2 pm.

Last, but not least, singer-songwriter Grant Livingstone will preform under the full moon. The concert is $5.00 per person and free for members of the Friends of Cape Florida.

Sunday, March 4 at the Key Biscayne Community Church---A testament of tears, "Lenten Cantata" will be held at the 11am worship by the choir.

The cantata invites you to "Come and mourn awhile, yet not as one without hope. There in the light of a never-ending sunrise stands a new yet ancient tree, once heavy with death and despair, which springs forth with a bounty of a joy and praise". All are invited to join in this presentation that includes Holy Communion.

Friday, March 16: Aqua Party hosted by the Key Biscayne Community Foundation.

The party will be held at the Island Lagoon at the Key Biscayne Presbyterian Church.  The festivities will consist of live music, capuera dancers, a live auction, a Chinese raffle, a bar by Bacardi, and a sumptuous spread by Parties by Pat and Jose Martinez.

Individual tickets are $175 for open, casual seating and tables can be purchased for $2500.
