Friday, June 17th at 6 – 8pm: Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center invites you to the Biscayne Bay Film Festival. Last March, Citizens for a Better South Florida, a non-profit organization, unleashed their "Discover Biscayne Bay" film contest to high schools across South Florida. Three films were selected, and they will be premiered and awarded. Bring your family and friends to meet these students and see their short film productions about a bay near you. Before and After the film festival there will be live music and kid activities such as arts & crafts, & games. Also enjoy a short presentation by Amy Condon from Trust for Public Lands, a national, nonprofit, land conservation organization that conserves land for people to enjoy, on “Discovering Biscayne Bay, and what you can do to contribute to its conservation.” Cost: $5. for Adults, $3 for kids and Members FREE and a $5 parking fee.
