Sunday, February 27 to April 3: “Saylor by the Sea.” The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center in Crandon Park on Key Biscayne will host the one-woman art show of Judith Saylor. Her Key Biscayne representations are tied to the abundant nature surrounding her in South Florida. Her paintings reflect the saturation of color and brilliant light. Please join us by admiring Judy’s colorful original acrylic nature paintings on canvas, Giclees and greeting cards. All sales benefit the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center and their good works within our community. The show continues through April 3. This event is free and open to the public. The collection is on view daily from 10:00am – 4:00pm except for the Art Closing on Sunday, April 3rd, when it is open from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.

Saturday, March 5th 9:00am - 4:00pm. Crandon Park and the Majory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center are hosting Native Plant Day! Join us for a day full of programs about native plants and nature walks in the coastal strand hammock and beach-dune. There will be nature activities for children. Thursday March 17 -- 5pm to 8pm: The Links Restaurant and Clubhouse is kicking off their new Happy Hour menu! Come join us at the clubhouse to enjoy music and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 25 through 27: Miami Seaquarium’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt Celebration promises the Easter Bunny, A World Record Breaking Attempt, Prizes and Many Surprises. Hop on over to Miami Seaquarium, for South Florida’s largest Easter Egg Hunt Celebration on Easter weekend. As a part of the park’s year-long 50th anniversary celebration, this year the annual Easter Egg Hunt celebration will feature an attempt to break the “Biggest Bunny Hop” world record. In addition to the park’s regularly scheduled shows and exhibits and continuous Egg Hunts throughout the weekend, there be will be music, face painting, bounce houses, an inflatable slide and performances by the street theatre troop Urban Disturbance. Admission discount coupons to Miami Seaquarium for the Easter Egg Hunt Celebration will be available at participating South Florida Publix Supermarkets during the month of March.
