MIAMI SEAQUARIUM® KICKS-OFF A GOLDEN MILESTONE -- Park will make a splash with year-long 50th Anniversary Celebration

This holiday season, the park is proud to present a new show during its Winter Fest celebration called Diveworks, an entertaining high dive show that will leave guests laughing and filled with amazement.

Professional divers from around the country will show off their Olympic style of diving ability along with hilarious comedic antics. Guests will be amazed to see the featured 75-foot high dive into just 10 feet of water. Three performances daily.

In addition, we will have a bounce house, an inflatable slide, tiny tike train and our own cast of costume characters. Don't forget to check out Lolita the Killer Whale, Flipper and friends as they put on their own high-flying shows.

February 27, 2005 -- Art Opening -- Saylor by the Sea at the Biscayne Nature Center -- 3 to 6pm

HOLD THE DATE: Judith Saylor, wife of Larry Saylor, Brookstreet Securities, is having a one woman art show at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center in Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. Her Key Biscayne representations are tied to the abundant nature surrounding her in South Florida and reflect the saturation of color and brilliant light. Please join Judy and Larry while they meet and greet their friends from the Key to see Judy's colorful original acrylic nature paintings on canvas, Giclees and note cards.

Advertising sales for Island Life: The Official Guide and Directory of the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce will begin after the Christmas holiday. The magazine will go to press the begining of March and be ready for distribution by the Nasdaq-100 Open.

Ocean Drive (5th to 15th streets) will be open to pedestrians only from noon Friday, December 31 through 7:00 a.m. Sunday, January 2 in anticipation of large crowds during the holiday weekend.
