Monday June 21 -- Scott Bass Memorial Scholarship -- 6:30 pm
The Key Biscayne Youth Council and the Key Biscayne Community Foundation will be awarding the Scott Bass Memorial Scholarship during the June 21st Youth Council meeting in the Village Chambers. This event will be televised.

The Youth Council has raised about $7,500 and is still trying to get to their goal of $8,000 .

The Key Biscayne Community Church, United Church of Christ invites all to its special worship service as we present, "God Bless America - Affirming Our Faith and Freedom," a musical by Tom Fettke that incorporates all the favorite Patriotic songs. The expanded choir and orchestra will also present a new piece, "In God We Trust," by Camp Kirkland. Lady Liberty will make an appearance as "Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor," is sung. These are the words inscribed at the base of the statue. And "Uncle Sam" will offer several readings.

I-95 Night-Time Lane Closures June 20 - 31. Beginning Sunday June 20 there will be night-time lane closures on I-95 at various locations while workers install foundation for new overhead signs along the Interstate. Closures will occur between the hours of 10pm and 5:30am, Sunday night through Thursday night, throughout the month of June. Please note that this schedule is tentative and might be impacted by bad weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
